Surfing through the interwebs we came across the trailer and website for 36 Stairs, a new film by director Grzegorz Jonkajtys. The website has some interesting behind the scenes pictures which reveal that the film is being shot on a Canon SLR. The acting and visual effects look superb. Enjoy!

Decoder Ring Design Concern has created another entry in their Fine Art Print Series, this time with artist Jeremy Fish.
Above you can see the process of creating the print, layer by layer (color by color). It is rare that we get a glimpse into the process of such works and a joy when we do!
We have the privilege of owning two of the installments in this series (by Aaron Horkey & Tara McPherson) and they are flawless and of the highest quality.
This is a 21 color silkscreen print, edition of 100 with 80 available for purchase. The print is a mere $250 plus shipping and can be purchased TODAY at the Decoder Ring Store. This will definitely sell out with the quickness so make up your mind fast.
More images after the break.

Kate MccGwire has some really stunning works made mostly of feathers. Words can’t really describe the mood she is able to capture, partially due to the fantastic installation sites. MccGwire uses her materials to create these seemingly alive, brooding, constricting shapes encased in glass, and floods of feathers that pour out of holes in the wall. Many other explorations of the medium are at her website, full of breathtaking work. As usual, more after the break.

Andy Kehoe is an excellent artist out of Portland, OR. Much of his work exists in an alternate reality where large beasts made of wood, leaves, feathers and hair roam freely. You can check out his website and his flickr feed for his latest work. As usual, check out more images after the break.
Our favorite news of the day: Andy has several art prints still available in his Etsy Shop.
