Artists AJ Fosik and Bill McRight have a joint show at David B Smith Gallery, opening Friday, July 16th from 7-10 pm. “Count Back from Nothing” features some very interesting new works by Fosik, who I’ve had my eye on for quite some time. On July 9, Gallery 1988 will be opening their annual art show, Crazy 4 Cult 4: The Case of the Redundant Number. Crazy 4 Cult features the art of 100 talented artists, such as: Allison Sommers, Rich Pellegrino, Glen Brogan, and Michael Steele. The show has become a tradition in the LA area, now in it’s fourth showing. Crazy 4 Cult contains arist’s renditions and images of popular cult classics, such as Harold and Maude, Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, and Back to the Future II.

Painter Mark Brown has a show titled “Daydreams” opening tonight at Gallery 1988 in San Francisco, CA. Information about the show can be found here. To accompany the show opening, the gallery has produced an extremely limited and affordable giclee print titled “Mmm… Candy”. The print measures 16×20 inches and is limited to only 35 pieces, signed and numbered. You can buy it at the Gallery 1988 Website.
