I’m lucky enough to be on the David B. Smith Gallery‘s physical mailing list and I regularly get beautiful postcards promoting their latest shows. The most recent one featuring the work of Oliver Vernon really caught my eye. The paintings have a beautiful chaotic, layered, almost three-dimensional look. The works are more about texture and composition rather than subject matter, but they’re all very interesting. You can enjoy a show preview at the David B. To coincide with the show, the gallery has released 2 giclee prints of Vernon’s “The Flood” and “Full Bleed” paintings. Each print is $200, an edition of 25, and printed on premium art paper with a deckled edge. Images after the break.
