According to his store, Joel’s pieces are “made from single pieces of paper, without cuts or glue, shaped by folding alone in the origami tradition. Many are hand-painted, dyed, or stained before and after folding and all are treated with polyurethane, acrylic or shellac to make them durable and ready for display.”
