Laura Laine is an illustrator that takes direct inspiration from notorious Victorian artist Aubrey Beardsley and injects a flow and sense of motion that the classic illustrator never captured. I was very impressed with her portfolio of advertising work, but mostly intrigued by her standalone ‘drawings’ section where there is no product to be sold alongside her figures. See more after the break and much more at the artist’s Website.

Doe-Eyed is the design portfolio of Eric Nyffeler, an illustrator / graphic designer from Lincoln, Nebraska who makes some pretty snazzy images. His retro styling has a healthy dose of distress effects and his color choices are fantastic. Check out the portfolio and then buy some very affordable gigposters.

Dan Grzeca (pronounced “Jetsah”) is a chicago-based artist that we really love. With his unique hand-drawn style, he creates fantastic multi-layered, painterly silkscreen prints and gigposters. The best part is, he’s got a lot of work available for purchase at really nice prices at his etsy shop. More images after the break and a lot more work you can check out at his blog and store.
