Mondo Tees has teamed up with Lucasfilm to release a liscenced Star Wars poster series, which is pretty great news. The first in the series is by Jeff Soto. It measures 24″x36″ and is hand numbered. The print is an edition of 350 and is only $50. This is super cheap for a Soto print, not to mention a Star Wars licensed print at such a large size! The print is available right now at MondoTees and probably won’t last long. Limit 1 per person. Full image after the break.
UPDATE #1: Sold out already! But still, enjoy the image! Apparently Soto has some of these to sell at a later date on his own site. We’ll keep an eye open for you.
If you’re interested in the process of creating the print, you can read more behind-the-scenes information at The Mondo Blog.
UPDATE #2: Jeff Soto has 50 of these available in his store Tuesday, July 20 at around 12:00 PDT for $90 + shipping, so keep an eye open if you missed this one.

Lucky for us, we get to support that effort by buying Fox Sox gear, which is amazing as you can see above. The Fox Sox t-shirt ($20) comes in a variety of adult and children’s sizes, and there is also a one size fits all ball cap ($20) you can get to complete your ensemble (see after break). This fine garment was Illustrated by San Francisco’s Jay Howell and designed by Providence’s Arley-Rose Torsone.
You can check out all of the Fox Sox gear at Tiny Showcase. (more…)

Jeff Hein is fantastic painter living in Salt Lake City, Utah. His website offers high resolution images of his paintings and a reference of scale for each one, which is handy.
Hein’s older works are colorful and bright but his latest work uses mostly earth tones and has a more somber feeling to it. Beautiful work all around. More recent paintings after the break and be sure to visit his website.
