Chris Jordan‘s photography captures color and images not seen by many. Much of his work revolves around numbers, statistics, patterns, and the impact of man on the environment. The image seen above is an untouched bird carcass in an area where many birds grow up eating a great deal of plastic junk they find in the wild.
With the catastrophic oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, it is an important reminder that we must re-evaluate our lifestyle, and Chris Jordan’s work brings this to our attention and feels more important than ever. More images after break.
