Above you can see the process of creating the print, layer by layer (color by color). It is rare that we get a glimpse into the process of such works and a joy when we do!

Shepard Fairey has created his best work in quite some time in honor of the Dalai Lama. Entitled “Compassion (His Holiness The Dalai Lama)”, the 3 color silkscreen print is an edition of 500, costs $60, and will drop at a random time today, March 10th at www.obeygiant.com

“We’re thrilled to be wishing a very special 75th birthday to His Holiness the Dalai Lama this year. In honor of this Diamond year, and in recognition of March 10th being Tibetan Independence Day, Shepard has created a limited-edition print of His Holiness. The work is based on an image taken by renowned photographer/documentarian Don Farber, who has spent more than 30 years covering the Tibetan leader and community in exile.

Hidden Moves is a new project by Welsh artist and designer Rhys Owens. He’s got a couple designs for you to purchase in t-shirt and art print form. The characters he’s created are really interesting. We’re looking forward to seeing more from this project!

Now this is something to get excited about! One of our favorite artists James Jean and Pressure Printing have teamed up to make this unbelievable intaglio print.

This exquisite print is 29” x 16”, with a paper size of 36” x 23”. Two color plates were used, and on the special edition, artist James Jean has hand colored certain areas to really bring this piece to life.
